Does SpreadSpace replace nCino?
Yes. SpreadSpace takes over the spreading, the analysis and the memo, extracting every line of the returns, the statements and the bank statements, building the spread on a canvas in a tab on the loan, configuring adjusted EBITDA and DSCR per entity and per year, and filling your own memo template. You keep the loan record, the pipeline and booking in nCino, and every finalized spread returns to it through the API.
How long does it take to add SpreadSpace to nCino?
A day. The embedded workspace and the upload webhook are the two pieces. The workspace mounts as a tab on the loan record, the webhook forwards every file that reaches the loan's inbox, and a developer follows the integration guide or hands the skill file to a coding agent that builds both legs.
Can SpreadSpace read the same tax returns nCino spreads?
Every line of the return comes through, including the per asset depreciation registers that run to hundreds of pages, the net operating loss carryforward schedule, the supporting statement behind every overflow line and the affiliate schedule, and a large return yields several hundred lines each with a box on its figure. The return is recorded on both a tax basis and a book basis, with a folded derivation behind every derived figure.
What does SpreadSpace do with Schedule K-1s?
Each K-1 in a packet is read on its own, issuer, recipient, ownership percents, capital account and every coded box, with a catalog of 1,305 code meanings turning each code into the item it denotes. Its supporting statements bind to it by printed name, partner number, page order and capital figures, and its recipient is matched to a person on the loan by identifier, name and address, so that person's returns and personal financial statements gather in one pool. No figure on a tax return or a financial statement comes from a language model, and a long K-1 packet is never cut short by a context window.
What does SpreadSpace do with bank statements?
Every transaction is extracted with its date, printed description, signed amount, check number, kind and position on the page, with a balance for every day and overdraft, insufficient funds, chargeback, returned item and service fee signals. Each transaction rolls up under a named counterparty in one of 58 classes across 13 sections, so a payroll provider's debit reads as an operating outflow in the payroll class, every financing relationship is found from payment cadence and the transaction text, and a return that names a counterparty as an affiliate re-tags the row to intercompany with the naming line boxed.
Does SpreadSpace use AI to extract the figures?
No figure on a tax return or a financial statement comes from a language model. Extraction is proprietary, and AI handles document screening and splitting. The spreading module in nCino reads figures with OCR and a machine learning model that learns from previous mappings.
Is there an audit trail?
Every analyst action lands in an append only log that records who acted, what changed, when, and the before and after values, and no row in it can be edited or deleted. The history is kept immutably for up to seven years on every plan, with the last ninety days live in the app and the whole of it exportable. A mistake from last week comes out with one undo from the log even after later actions, and the undo is itself logged rather than erasing the record.
How is SpreadSpace priced against nCino?
The workspace is bundled with the cost of extraction, so there is no separate charge for the tab inside nCino, and a test mode key runs the whole integration against a sandbox at no charge. Contact sales for a quote sized to your document volume.
